Becareful of blog contests!!

Wow…is all I can say about this. I just came across this huge post in regards to a fake contest someone was holding. This person basically wanted all these linkbacks to their website and promised $2500 to the winner of the contest. Who won?? A fake blog with only two entries which was created two days before the winner was announced. Ya…like anyone would believe that bullshit.

You gotta read this entire post. It’s crazy, plus there is even screenshots of the fake blog. People can be very very stupid in the blogosphere.

Precisely why I only go for the contests from people/bloggers I know. Once in a while I might join one at a site I don’t know, but only if it’s a prize that isn’t outrageous.
